Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr is a registered organization, completely non-political and non-governmental. Furthermore, it is non-sectarian.
We promote the school of thought of our Sufi Saints, al-Ghawth al-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani and Sultan-ul-Arifeen Sultan Bahoo. According to them, prosperous society is not achievable without esoteric purification of each of its members.
The Perfect spiritual guide Sultan ul Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman has founded Tehreek Dawat e Faqr to spread Faqr. That is the spiritual purification. It is the only way to strengthen relation with Allah, hence ensuring success in both the worlds. This movement is propagating the message of Faqr through written literature such as books, pamphlets and monthly magazine ‘Mahnama-Sultan-ul-Faqr-Lahore’. Tehreek Dawat e Faqr also invites through speeches and direct verbal preaching to common people. This website is also the continuation of above-mentioned aim. The teaching of Faqr included in this website are the collection of Quran, Hadiths and teachings of Saints, Fuqara, Fakirs and spiritual guides.
Importance and Need of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr
The crux is that in the present era it has become more important to join the path of Faqr than ever. It is because the curses of greed, malice, dissolute, falsehood have affected the whole societies. Divine favour is not with us since we lack will to seek Allah. In religious schools, scholars are promoting sectarianism based on differences of performing physical devotions. People are working days and night for exoteric aspect but none is paying attention to soul of Islam. Soul is in fact the gnosis of Allah. The results are evident in the form of downfall of Muslims all over the world.
